For the past 40 years he has practiced law with the prestigious law firm of Plunkett Cooney where he is the managing partner of the Petoskey office. He is also the Co-Chair of the Mackinac Island Community Foundation and on the Finance Council of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Jim is the City Attorney for the City of Petoskey and for decades served on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Association of Municipal Attorney
